The Group is the senior youth group in TYC. It is for young people in school years 10 - 13 (ages 14 - 18 years).
Our aim is to enjoy lively discussions and activities that challenge, develop, support and encourage the young people in their walk with God.
We look at what the bible has to say on various topics and discuss ethical issues in a warm accepting atmosphere where the young people are encouraged to think for themselves. We also have a lot of fun, with regular socials, chosen by the young people, recently these have included bowling, film evenings, silly games and watching ice hockey matches.
We meet on most Sunday Evenings (not on Taste evenings, or during school holidays) from 8pm - 9.30pm, normally in the Church lounge, although socials can be elsewhere.
We start with light refreshments and a time of socialising. The more organised bit of the evening normally lasts from 8:30pm - 9:30pm.
